www.christchurchtourofhomes.org  Christ Church Frederica Annual Tour of Homes - Ticket sales for a home tour of St. Simons & Sea Island homes is the major annual fundraiser for the Christ Church Episcopal Church Women. A grant's program is conducted using formal web applications to distribute the charity funds.
www.loweraltamahahistoricalsociety.org Lower Altamaha Historical Society in Darien  The rich history of McIntosh County is the focus for this historical society that meets at Fort King George. The Society also gives an annual student scholarship.
www.gimoaa.org Golden Isles Military Officers of America - The Golden Isles MOAA chapter's primary focus is giving scholarships to area students. It has established a number of partnerships with local businesses which assist in funding 8 scholarships per year.
American_Revolution Far away from Virginia and the actions of George Washington's army, Georgia  also had Patriot versus British actions leading to the revolution victory and the establishment of the United States of America. The Georgia Sons of the American Revolution (GASAR) has identified 8 battle sites in Georgia which are described in the Georgia Major Battles The web site is dedicated to providing detailed data on those battle sites that occurred in Coastal Georgia (the Low Country)
